In a cosy, slightly chaotic household where the clink of chai cups was the most common sound, four wildly opinionated children and their sleep-deprived dad found themselves in a quest for the 'perfect' cup of chai. Store-bought options were either too bland, too bitter, or tasted suspiciously like spiced dishwater. One dramatic family meeting later, we decided enough was enough. If the world couldn’t give us good chai, we’d make it ourselves—with reckless amounts of cardamom, just the right swirl of sass, and the sort of love only a slightly dysfunctional, chai-obsessed family could brew. Thus, The Chai Family was born: equal parts tradition, rebellion, and cosy chaos.
The Chai Family started with a simple idea: How do we extend the authenticity, respect and tradition behind a cup of chai to the western world?
