We are The Chai Family—four kids and a dad brought together by our love of a proper cup of chai.

Our journey started with something simple: chai was always at the heart of our home. It wasn’t just a drink, it was how we connected. Early mornings, long chats, and moments of laughter were always shared over a steaming cup.

When we travelled to India, we discovered what real chai should taste like—fragrant, rich, and brewed with care. But when we came back to the UK, we couldn’t find anything that came close. What we did find was instant chai, powders, and syrups—quick fixes that lacked the depth, warmth, and soul of the chai we had grown to love.

So, together, we decided to create it ourselves. Not as a business idea at first, but as a family mission: to bring back the kind of chai that made us slow down, gather around the table, and share stories.

What started as a father and his kids experimenting in the kitchen turned into something bigger. We sourced proper spices, learned the traditions of brewing, and refused to compromise on authenticity. Every blend we make today is crafted with the same care we put into those first family cups—rich in flavour, layered with spice, and never instant.

For us, chai isn’t just a drink. It’s comfort. It’s connection. It’s family. And that’s what we want to share with you.
